Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada
Diagnostic Imaging Report
X-Ray #: 03-3645
Exam Date 2003 March 28

ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND
The organs of the upper abdomen are sonographically normal. No abnormalities are seen in the gallbladder, billary tree, pancreas, liver, or spleen. Both kidneys are normal in size and echotexture with no evidence of mass or obstruction. The abdominal great vessels are normal. No intra-abdominal masses or free fluid. Specifically, no evidence of lever metastases.
CONCLUSIONS
Sonographically normal upper abdomen.

CT ABDOMEN & PELVIS (with oral and intravenous contrast)
100 cc of intravenous contrast was utilized to perform this study. There are no findings to suggest any metastatic liver disease or any thick-walled loops of bowel or intra-abdominal masses or adenopathy. Splenic size is normal. The kidneys, pancreas, gallbladder, stomach and billary tree appear unremarkable. No modular densities are present in the lung bases and the axial skeleton appears intact.
CONCLUSIONS
No findings are present to suggest any metastatic intra-abdominal disease. The patient is known to have a previous colon Carcinoma and has been closely monitored for a few years. There has been a recent and unexplained in his CEA which is still, unfortunately unexplained.
