Over the months this has become an active book that keeps growing as my cancer experience unfolds. Therefore this page will be revised and changed to follow the events and the direction the diary takes.

Right from the start it is important to understand who's involved: Stephen, the Guinea Pig... hoops! the patient and Eileen the Crazy Scientist... hoops! the wife. Joking a side, I feel that I am the one that is documenting the experience to understand what is happening and hopefully learn something in the process. The one that has the knowledge to evaluate new information and deal with alternative remedies is definitively Eileen. She has a great knowledge on nutrition and nutritional supplements.

In this scenario you will see how life changes when you get the big news... you have cancer or your cancer is back (my case).

Our relationship has really grown in sharing everyday of this new life. Sometime very loving and other times fighting but realizing how important we are for one another.

The diary and Website will also offer all the technical information about the therapies used. Remember that you need all the soldiers you can get in a war. And all my blood work and medical reports that show you exactly what I had to deal with.

I don't feel in the least an invasion of privacy in sharing all this with family, friends, other cancer patients or simply people who would like to learn something about prevention. If any of this information can help anyone I will have reached my target. Every time you receive something in life... you should return something back. I am now living on extended time and trying to do the best with it.
