How do you face life after your son has been shot and killed in a small town High School? Reverend Lang will be in Prince Albert answering that question. He will also be in Carlton and St. Mary's High schools. A year ago, their lives were turned upside down when a youth shot two students, wounding one and killing the other, in Tabor High School. The slain student was Jason Lang 17-year-old son of Reverend Langs.You would not want to miss the fascinating story of love and forgiveness in the face of death.

June 25: Roman Catholic Diocese of Prince Albert Jubilee Year. To mark the 2000th anniversary of Jesus Christ's birth, the diocese will hold a Eucharistic Congress, defined by Bishop Blaise Morand as "the joining together…of the members of the Church for a profound profession of faith in the Eucharistic mystery." Organizers expect to fill the Comuniplex arena in Prince Albert with more than 4,000 Catholics for a special 3:00pm mass that day, preceded by a two-hour festival of song and praise. The mass will be followed by a Eucharistic procession from the Comuniplex to a station near Mont St. Joseph nursing home. The day will end with a giant picnic in Prime Minister's Park. During the morning of the Eucharistic Congress, Catholic churches in Prince Albert will host various events beginning at 10:00. Bishop James
Weisgerber of Saskatoon will speak about the Eucharist at St. Michael Church; music, prayer and activities for youth will be held at St. Joseph Church; reconciliation services will be offered at Sacred Heart Cathedral; a Holy Hour with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at St. Mark Church; and prayers inspired by Native spirituality
will be part of a Native circle at Prime Minister's Park. A display of the diocese's history since 1891 will also be set up in the Cathedral's lower level that morning. A continental breakfast will be served in all four parishes from 9:00 to

The works of these 2 artists reflect different practices within the tradition of wood working. Rohachuk explores a sculptural and experimental approach toward the object, developing forms that verge on the impossible. His delicate and poetic objects reflects how teases form, function, aesthetics, craft and funk with objects that include hybrids and furniture. Together the works of these two artists play off and each other.
