April 5–8: Prince Albert Community Players Presents
"No Sex Please, We’re British"
A Play by Anthony Marriott and Allstair Foot.
Prince Albert Community Players latest production, "No Sex Please, We're British" takes place in an apartment over a sub-branch of the National United Bank in Royal Windsor, England. A young bride, Frances Hunter (Sandra Anderson) innocently mail orders some Scandinavian glassware. But instead of the glassware she and her husband, Peter (Thomas Porter) receive pornography, first photographs , then books, films and eventually two hookers, Susan (Marnie Anderson) and Barbara (Karen McLeod) arrive threatening the couple's happiness. Further complications arise with the arrival of Peter's mother, Eleanor (Cynthia LaRose), his boss, Leslie Bromhead (John Salamon), a visiting bank inspector, Mr. Needham (John Beatty), a nosy police superintendent, (Larry Schlosser) and a mixed up and accident prone friend, Brian (Clark Rensberry) whose help in getting rid of the porno ends up making things worse.
Award winning director David Mulgrew expertly bundles up and explodes the energy of the play with each twist and turn of the plot. The continual slamming of doors, running up and down the stairways by a talented cast makes this farce an energetic laugh riot from start to finish.
April 27 - May 5: Odyssey Productions presents

Her foolproof murder plan cannot possibly misfire as it is too skillfully inventive - or is it? After all, Arthur (as everyone knows) has psychic gifts. But does he? Once the killing scheme is set in motion, the plot begins to twist and turn. Is mind reading possible? Can the future be foretold? Just when you figure out what will happen next, there is an unexpected shock to complicate matters in an amusing and scary fashion... nothing is as it seems.

Correspondents
Joint Project with AKA Gallery
Collaborations between Prince Albert and Saskatoon Artists
Artists:
Chris Ferchuk and Terry Billings
Kathleen Houston and Marlene Yuzak
Dana Wareing Popescul and Annemarie Buchmann-Gerber
"Correspondents" is a collaboration between AKA Artist-Run Centre in Saskatoon and the Little Gallery in Prince Albert. This project is intended to create dialogue and support between artists in these two communities, resulting in a group exhibition to be presented in both cities.
Artists from both communities were invited to participate and linked with a partner on a joint project that could take many forms (i.e. physically working on the same piece together, exploring the same subject individually but with a relationship between the pieces, sending pieces back and forth and both altering the same piece). The projects could be cross media as well.
This exhibition forges stronger links between the two arts communities and enhances individual exchange. At the same time, it explores the implications of the collaborative process.
