  • Until March 20: Memories of Europe by Janusz Bizewski
This show will feature new works by artist, Janusz Bizewski. The works of Bizewski have found homes not only in the heart of Europe but have ventured as far as Germany, Italy, Newfoundland, London, Washington, etc. Years of post-graduate studies were filled with numerous commissions, and in 1991, Bizewski held his first art show titled: "In Search of Your Destiny." In 1997, he received his Master of Divinity from the University of Western Ontario, and in 1999 Bizewski moved to Prince Albert. This current collection, titled "Memories of Europe" is a fruit of his extensive travel around the continent of his birth. The body of work includes original ink & acrylic mediums featuring a variety of European locations. Please consider this exhibition for photo shoots and/or community news.

  • January 30 to February 24: ARTWORK by LILIAN DONAHUE
    OPENING: Thursday, February 5, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
A collection of landscapes, still life and portraits done in various media including acrylics, pencil crayon and oil pastel, are featured in this exhibition. Lilian Donahue is interested in portraiture and landscape. Each is, in a sense, geographical. Surfaces repose on and occasionally reveal the bones underneath. Weathering, either from climate or experience, carves the surface into a contour map, which expresses events, time, and emotion. Art is an opportunity for deep observation and a close involvement with the subject. Light is a miracle. It creates shapes out of space, shadow, and colour. Lilian wishes it were possible to paint with light. She has been a student and teacher of art for much of her life.
