  • Nancy Greene Ski League Snowboarding and late Registration - there are still openings for children all levels of competence.   • November: Ursula (Terfloth) Brons, Saskatchewan artist displays her water colours and oil pastels depicting her view of Northern Saskatchewan, her life and her family. She is also celebrating the release of her 1997 Unicef Card, Saskatchewan Coast.

  • Until November 23: Peggy Kerr Retrospective Works by the late Peggy Kerr, a practicing artist in the community for many years. In Britain she studied embroidery with British artist, Constance Howard.In Canada she studied art with George Glenn and the Emma lake workshops. Kerr used a variety of media, embroidery, painting, 3-dimensional arrangements that demonstrated her delight with nature.
  • Nov. 28, 1997 - Jan. 4, 1998: Figurative Art from the Permanent Collection, toured by the Mendel Art Gallery. This exhibition will look at identity in art work. Some of these works are documentary portraits of individuals, while others are clearly representations of the persona of the artist transformed by memory or imagination. The Exhibition shows works by William James, Suzy Lake, Alex Colvill, Ivan Eyre, Frances Robson, David McMillan, Marie Lanoo, Esther Warkov, Jahan Maka, Paul Sisetski and Graham Coughtry.
