  • October 18: PA 8th Annual Oktoberfest , organized by the Prince Albert German Canadian Club, at the PA Exhibition Centre. When the doors open at 7:00pm, you will step out of Prince Albert and into Bavaria, Germany. As the Burgermeister raises his glass of freshly tapped brew, the festivities begin. Bring a good appetite, because there's plenty of traditional German food and beer. Come well rested because you won't be able to resist the great polka music. You can have a break when they bring on the entertainment, sort of. If you're not laughing or singing or up on your chairs making toasts! If you really want to go all the way, you can dress in traditional costume and perhaps win a prize for your effort.   • October: Ursula (Terfloth) Brons, Saskatchewan artist displays her water colours and oil pastels depicting her view of Northern Saskatchewan, her life and her family. She is also celebrating the release of her 1997 Unicef Card, Saskatchewan Coast.
