Saskatchewan Community Theatre Inc. (SCTI) is the umbrella organization that strives to keep "community alive and well in the provincial theatre scene. We represent 85 member groups who in turn involve nearly five thousand people in local production each year. Dinner theatres and productions staged by our membership generate more than a million dollars annually in this province. Because our groups are non-profit, much of the money they raise goes right back into their own communities. Their efforts may result in a playground for local children, equipment for a hospital or help with a food bank drive. Many of our groups provide the springboard for professional actors, writers and directors who have gone on to national prominence. We entertain and involve seniors in several of our groups and have introduced the joys of live theatre to children. We teach, entertain and share our love of theatre with all, contributing economically to Saskatchewan and improving upon our quality of life. Saskatchewan Community Theatre Inc.
